Tuesday Group.
The Group started in September 1963 as the "Young Wives Group" and celebrated their 60th Anniversary in December 2023.
Our Programme for the current year is as follows:
December 9th - Christmas Celebrations.
January 13th - Our new Charity for the year
February 10th - "The tenants and workers of Abbeydale Forge 1738 to 1933" - Illustrated talk by Pauline Burnett
March 10th - "More tales from the Vicar's wife" - talk by Jane Price
April 14th - Outing to Abbeydale Minatre Railway - A talk, a ride and refreshments.
May 12th - "Once seen, never forgotten" - Illustrated talk by Don Witton.
June 9th - "The Rotherham Chapel on the Bridge" - Illustrated talk by Margaret Jackson
If any ladies would like to join us, we are a very welcoming group. The Ladies group meets on the second Tuesday of the month at 2.30pm in our Hall. Visitors are welcome, charge £4.
